2024 Round 1 KA2. KA210-VET, Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training. Equal Arts · 2024-1-ES01-KA210-VET-000248043 · 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2026
Project Equal Arts was built on a simple premise: women (or those who identify as women) in the performing arts are not short of talent, they are short of structure and support. The Lesson I will carry forward into everything Association InDance International is planned to do the following:
- Expertise needs a translator, Communication is key 🙂
- Promotion is a relationship, not a broadcast each post is a message about the relationship between partners.
- Short and online beats long and in person for reach, be clear, be concise and think logically
- A one-hour session that women can actually attend outperforms a residential week they cannot afford to join, open access in a variety of forms to support those in need.
Read Association InDance International’s Results and Newsletter for a better understanding on what exceptional in-house team work can achieve together!
Project Equal Arts has personally given me a brief for the next cycle of artistic work, and I know we intend to use it. The priorities are continuity over one-off delivery, mentoring that reaches the decision layer rather than only the stage, and partnerships that keep widening the cultural range of who is in the room. Our existing and new networks are the ground for new approaches within our sector.
I would make one closing point in my role as Director: This project was administered, delivered and evaluated by a small team at InDance with limited resources, and it still produced excellent findings, with unlimited and on-going barriers to success for our small-scale activity. However scale is not the same as insight and popularity is not the same as strength, talent and focus. What small projects give the sector is proximity to the individual artists it claims to serve, and that is precisely what the next generation of funding for women in the arts needs to protect.
Association InDance International with Partners achieved: Methodology development, Comparison of need, Curriculum development, Contents development LMS, Textual and Visual, Talking Heads Filming, Finalisation and Translation, Guidelines and Form Development, ESP-ENG national online webinars with preparation, implementation and a final Transnational Online Capacity Building Webinar.
