British Born Performer Choreographer Dance Film Editor and Emergent Dance Scholar Harriet Macauley, collaborates regularly in Europe and Internationally on the development of experimental Multimedia Performance Works. InDance International is a powerful and progressive dance community founded on international collaboration and performance based in Barcelona and led by Female Choreographer, Artistic Director Harriet Macauley. Harriet has gained numerous international experiences working with the use of technology in collaboration for events, projects, performances. Projects were collaborations in Austria, Spain, Canada, UK, USA and Turkey. From 2020 she was awarded a scholarship and financial support to undertake a period of collaborative investigation with Phoenix Dance Theatre, UK, Erasmus+ Netherlands, and Arts Council England in collaboration with artists from Spain for the development of InDance International. Organisational development was supported by Institut Català de les empreses, Barcelona, Catalonia. Despite COVID19 restrictions, Harriet Macauley will continue to provide ongoing activities in Spain and internationally. Activities 2021: Event InDance Barcelona. Harriet Macualey’s movement combines her root signature dance style in classical and contemporary dance, connected to specific vocabularies in dance culture originating from Youth, Urban, Hip Hop, Commercial, African, Latino and Cuban descent. Harriet combines a personal mythopoetic life experience and bridges influences and intentions for the creation of Stage Performances, Screen and Dance Film.
