Despite the intensive work load throughout the summer on the creation of a new work, and the rapid expansion of InDance International Barcelona and Leeds, I am delighted to be supported by the IETM to attend the next international performance event with BITEF dance in Serbia.
This opportunity provides the premise to begin the early stages of building artistic relationships in Southern Eastern and Central Europe. This will be my first visit to Serbia and I am excited about the opportunity to build bridges beyond more established and official European states.
A key question which was posed and is more relevant for InDance International is how can the arts field embrace care, friendship, solidarity and find the feeling of stability in a dramatically changing world?
