AARHUS DENMARK. LIVING ON THE EDGE TO PROVOKE NEW THOUGHTS AND INSPIRE ACTION IN THE PERFORMING ARTS.

I am delighted to be traveling back to Aarhus and Copenhagen to attend the IETM Aarhus Plenary Meeting 2023 on 12th June 2023.

As a Artistic Director of InDance International, traveling and working regularly throughout Europe and abroad, the role we play and our conscious awareness of climate change, has become more of a pressing issue.

Copenhagen 2023

What is the practical role of the performing arts – and of the artist – in the face of climate emergency?

During my time in Aarhus, I will watch dance, participate in dance discussions focusing on the future of the performing arts, specifically with touring, festivals and traveling to various locations to deliver dance works.

Artistic Director and Choreographer: Harriet Macauley, United Kingdom and Spain.
