HARRIET MACAULEY MY COLOUR IS MY STRENGTH RACIAL DISCRIMINATION & IMPLICIT BIAS UNITED KINGDOM MAY 2022

My time in institutional frameworks for academic development in UK has presented many challenges, and this month was once again the ultimate challenge of self love, validation and respect, as I was exposed to a body of mentally unstable academic leaders who demonstrated the signs of racial implicit bias.

Moreover, I was told to accept the judgement without any foundation or evidence of reasoning. whilst I am conscious of my weakness in academic development, there are no foundations for complete and utter lack of respect, transparency and professionalism.

Upon conclusion, my armor of protection will remain on – until there is a change in the educational system, for Black individuals who are British and deserve to be treated Equally.

My colour is my strength, my blessing, my salvation and it is Sacred, precious and unchangeable.  I am ready and waiting for the next racial bias.

Note: Names, Location and the UK University remain undisclosed for personal protection.
